7 Most Instagram Worthy Places Close to Clermont FL

Updated: May 6, 2020

Have you ever seen a cool photo online and asked someone where they took it and had them completely ignore you? Let's face it, we've all been there. I know many photographers and influencers that oftentimes like to keep their private photo spots to themselves, but who has time for that? And besides, we all have the internet now so nothing is a secret for too long. This article is going to be all about my top 7 locations that I have shot in within the past 6 months that I think are "instagram worthy". Whether you're looking to step up your photography game or not, there is something for everyone to create some eye catching looks.  As I continue to capture more photos in December I will update you all with more--Because sharing is caring.

** disclaimer: Central Florida is packed with so many beautiful locations. I am simply sharing the places that I have shot in recently in hopes that you'll be inspired like I was. These locations are in no particular order.

7 MOST INSTAGRAM WORTH PLACES CLOSE TO CLERMONT, FL

1. Disney Springs, Walt Disney World

Address: 1486 Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830

Disney Springs is full of amazing photo spots. The water front area by the Characters in Flight balloon is my absolute favorite. House of Blues has a lot of fun chunky walls to play around with and who could miss the amazing Starbucks greenery wall located near the food truck location. Whenever Chris and I are at Springs we looks for bright colors, fun lighting and shadows, and of course textures. I try to pose in a variety of ways so don't be afraid to lean on things, play with your hair, sit, jump, hop, etc. I have had the opportunity to shoot with some very talented photographers some of which have taught me everything I know.

Pro Tip: when it starts to get a bit darker out-- "thank you day light savings" *insert eyer roll*-- try to use the lighting from the store fronts to help fill in those darker spots and unwanted shadows.

2. Lake Louisa, Clermont FL

Address: 7305 US-27, Clermont, FL 34714

Looking for that perfect "golden hour" glow? Look no further than Lake Louisa. There is a $5 fee to enter the park, but man is it worth it. I have never come out of this location disappointed. There are multiple trails to adventure through as well as several lakes and waterfronts all of which make for some gorgeous pictures. Of course, if you can get there for sunset it is ideal because nothing beats a soft golden nature portrait.

3. Southern Hill Farms, Clermont FL

Address: 16651 Schofield Rd, Clermont, FL 34714

Southern Hill Farms is a family owned and operated u-pick and commercially harvested blueberry farm located in Clermont, FL. They seasonally have blueberries, sunflowers, pumpkin patches and more. SHF hosts festivals as well, where you can indulge in seasonal food and drinks all while enjoying the sounds of local bands that play there. Be sure to check with their website and instagram often for updated information, times and seasonal blooms before planning your trip--especially if you are looking to grab sunflower pictures like these.

4. Downtown Orlando, FL

Address: 53 W Central Blvd, Orlando, FL 32801

The Central Blvd Garage is one of our "hidden gem" spots that we love shooting at. Depending on the time of day you can get some AMAZING pictures on the rooftop, which on most days, is fairly empty of cars. It is located across the street from a fire station which is another super fun spot to shoot close by. The city is so fun to shoot in because no matter what type of look you are going for, it's possible. I'm looking forward to adding some more high-fashion looks and neon to my portfolio soon!

5. 10 Mile Clay Rd, Clermont FL

Address: 8928-9290 N Bradshaw Rd, Clermont, FL 34714

We recently did a winter "Christmas Cozy" shoot with our good friend, @imagerybylu at this location and even though we didn't get the sunset we were looking for, because of the overcast day, I am still SO HAPPY with how these came out. To me, they are totally pinterest-worthy. I clearly love taking pictures outside, but who doesn't, its literally gorgeous in Florida so anytime I can showcase that in my photos I do. This road only had 1-2 cars and a few runners so its a perfect spot to get the--middle of the road, shots. Once the sun goes down you are going to NEED bug spray because we got ATTACKED once it got dark.

6. Showcase of Citrus, Clermont FL

Address: 5010 US-27, Clermont, FL 34714

This location is somewhere I drive by every. single. day. I had always wanted to do a photoshoot here merely for the fact that they had a giant Gulf sign on the side of the building. Little did I know there was so much more to this location than we could ever imagine. The pumpkin patch was small but perfect for what we needed to create the perfect instagram pumpkin patch shot. There are giant monster truck type vehicles you go on, animals to feed and a giant general store filled with all types of goodies. If you do visit, you will have to try their famous orange creamsicle.

Pro Tip: bring a few different tops to change your look up. I was able to take all of these on the same day, and walked away with double the content for my page.

Address: 101 Aquarius Agora Drive Orlando FL 32816

Foxtail Coffee has a few locations around the Central Florida area. If you are looking for some super fun, cozy-style pictures I highly recommend doing a coffee shop shoot. The tones itself scream fall/winter vibes to me and who does't love a good sweater pic? Again, I brought a few different outfits for this shoot but tried to stay within the same colors of pinks, whites, creams, and lavender for the look I was trying to capture.

WHAT OTHER INSTAGRAM WORTHY LOCATIONS WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO COVER NEXT?
